CAPITAL CAMPAIGN : A VOYAGE TO DISCOVERY
Life is a journey, a voyage to discovery. For many of our parents and grandparents that was a real and lived experience when they embarked on a journey to an unknown country. Arriving in Canada with their suitecases full of hopes and dreams to begin a new life.
Now that they are older, life is presenting them with new challenges, and it is presenting us with the opportunity to give back.
We are Magellan Community Foundation, a non-for-profit and registered charity that supports the core work of Magellan Community Charities in developing a state-of-the-art-seniors centre in Toronto. The Magellan Centre will be the first of its kind in Ontario, offering culturally sensitive care for Portuguese speaking residents and will deliver the highest quality care for seniors in a familiar environment.
